4-gate audit, 30 seconds. We check your platform mix, view history, geo, and clean-traffic record against the FORKOFF baseline. Pass and we deeplink you to the application.
Pick all that apply. Most active clippers run on 2-3.
Four gates. They map directly onto what brand briefs need from a clipper: real reach, traceable geo, clean traffic, and platform-fit. Follower count isn't on the list. Watch-time and traffic-validity are.
FORKOFF eligibility
Platform mix + 10K+ monthly views + geo disclosed + clean traffic in last 90 days. Pass and the strategist review takes 5-7 business days; brief flow starts within 48h of approval.
65/100 applicants pass on first try
Marketplace open access
Most clipping marketplaces accept anyone with a creator account. Sounds open, but the brief router weights raw view count + follower size, so most clippers see thin brief flow regardless.

Best platform threshold
Each gate has a binary pass / fail with a specific fix path if you fail. Pass all four and the wizard deeplinks you to the application. Fail one and you get a fix recommendation; fail two or more and you get a build-and-retry recommendation.
Platform mix gate
Confirm you're active on at least one of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or X (Twitter). Multi-platform clippers get prioritized in brief routing, but single-platform is acceptable.
Volume gate
10K+ monthly views on your strongest platform. Below that, the qualification engine doesn't have enough volume to sustain a payout floor; we redirect under-volume applicants to /become-a-clipper.
Geo disclosure gate
Disclose your primary publishing geo. We don't gate on Tier-1 buyer countries vs delivery markets, but the geo lock means brief routing matches you to compatible campaigns.
Clean-traffic gate
Zero strikes, shadow-bans, or community-guidelines violations in the last 90 days. We check the platform's reported flags + sample your last 5 clips for traffic-validity signals.
Three inputs feed the four gates. Be honest with the numbers. Overstating monthly views only delays your application; the strategist review verifies the same numbers from your actual platform handles.
Platforms (multi-select)
Brief flow scales with platform mix
What it is
Which short-form platforms you actively post on. TikTok, Reels, Shorts, X. At least one is required.
How to mark accurately
Tick every platform you publish on at least 4 times a month. Multi-platform clippers see ~2× more brief flow than single-platform.
Example
Single: TikTok only. Multi: TikTok + Reels + Shorts.
Monthly views (best platform)
Brief priority increases with view tier
What it is
Approximate monthly views on your strongest platform. Below 10K = redirect to /become-a-clipper. 10K-50K = conditional. 50K+ = clear pass.
How to measure honestly
Use last 30 days, not lifetime. Tools like the platform analytics tab give the exact number; estimate is fine if you're close.
Example
Conditional: 12K. Clear: 75K. Top quintile: 500K+.
Geo disclosure
Tier-1 markets ≈ 36/60 ledger volume
What it is
Your primary publishing geo. Locked at brief acceptance for compliance. Tier-1 buyer markets see most flow; delivery markets see lower CPV but higher volume.
How to pick yours
Pick the geo where 70%+ of your audience lives. If your audience is split, pick the dominant one and disclose the secondaries during the strategist review.
Example
Tier-1: US, GB, AE, SG, CH, DE. Delivery: IN, BR, ID, PH, VN.
Three outputs: verdict, failed gates (if any), and time to a clean apply. Use the time output to plan your build, not to stress; volume grows with consistency.
Verdict
Pass distribution across applicants
What it is
Plain-language pass / conditional / fail outcome based on the 4-gate audit. Pass deeplinks you to /request-access?role=clipper for the full application.
How to read it
Pass means apply directly. Conditional means apply with notes; strategist review will weigh the borderline gate. Fail means address the failed gate first.
Outcome examples
Pass: 50K+ views + clean traffic + geo disclosed + multi-platform. Conditional: 12K views + clean + geo + single-platform. Fail: 4K views + recent strike.
Failed gates (if any)
Gate failures by frequency
What it is
Which of the 4 gates blocked the pass. Volume, geo, platform mix, or traffic history. Each failure surfaces a fix recommendation.
How to address each
Address the most fixable gate first. Volume grows with consistency. Traffic flags clear after 90 clean days. Geo is a disclosure, not a constraint.
Fix paths
Volume gate: ship 30 more clips and re-check. Traffic flag: wait 90d clean window. Platform: add a second platform.
Time to apply
Gate-fix windows in days
What it is
Estimated calendar window before you can apply with a clear pass. Zero if you already pass; 30/60/90 days otherwise depending on which gate failed.
How to plan
Use this to plan. Don't keep re-running the checker daily; the volume gate doesn't move quickly. Set a reminder for the recommended window.
Window per gate
Pass today: 0 days. Volume gate: 30-60 days. Traffic flag: 90 days. Geo: 0 (just disclose).
From a US TikTok solo creator at the conditional volume tier to a recently flagged high-volume applicant. Same audit, different gates triggered.
| Scenario | Platform mix | Monthly views | Geo | Flags | Verdict | Time-to-apply |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Solo TikTok creator (US, 35K views) Single-platform US clipper at the conditional volume tier. | TikTok | 35K | US | None | Conditional | 0d |
Multi-platform IN (180K views) Tier-1 delivery-market clipper at clear-pass volume. | TikTok+Reels | 180K | IN | None | Pass | 0d |
Crypto-Twitter native (UK, 60K) X-native clipper, niche-aligned with web3 protocol briefs. | X+Reels | 60K | GB | None | Pass | 0d |
Recent strike (US, 90K) High-volume but flagged within 90 days. | TikTok | 90K | US | 1 strike (45d) | Fail | 45d |
The model assumes you're a real clipper or aspiring clipper. If you're a brand reading this for clipper-vetting purposes, the FORKOFF intake form is what you want. See /request-access.
