Ai-seo
AI SEO is the authority layer of the FORKOFF distribution stack. The work that makes a brand the cited answer inside ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Claude, and Gemini, not just a blue link. The posts below cover answer engine optimization, generative engine optimization, LLM SEO, schema for AI extraction, and how to measure share of AI citations. Every post ties to a live FORKOFF program and the answer-engine service family. See the FORKOFF answer engine optimization service.

Getting cited by AI answer engines
Traditional SEO optimizes for a blue link in a list of ten results a user has to click through. Answer engine optimization optimizes for being the source an AI system cites, or paraphrases without citing, when it answers a question directly. Those are different targets requiring different work: a page can rank on page one of Google and still never get pulled into a ChatGPT or Perplexity answer if it isn't structured in a way those systems can extract cleanly.
Answer engine optimization vs traditional SEO
A traditional SEO page is written to satisfy a search intent across a full article, with the answer often buried after several paragraphs of preamble because that structure historically helped with dwell time and keyword density. An AI answer engine wants the direct answer near the top, in a form it can lift cleanly, definition first, then supporting detail. Writing for both means leading with a real answer capsule (a definition, a direct answer, a clear number) before the narrative context, not making a reader scroll to find what the page is actually about.
Schema that AI crawlers can actually extract
Structured data that describes content the page doesn't visibly show is a documented way to get flagged, not cited: Google's own guidance is that markup must match what's genuinely on the page. FAQPage, Article, and Dataset schema only help when the questions, claims, and numbers they reference are rendered in the page's own HTML, not just present in a JSON-LD block a crawler has to trust blindly. The work is making sure the visible page and the structured data agree, not adding more schema types for their own sake.
Measuring share of AI citations
Rank tracking tells you where a page sits in Google's results; it says nothing about whether ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, or Gemini cite that page when a real user asks a related question. Measuring AI citation share means running the actual buyer questions through each answer engine on a recurring basis and recording which sources get named or paraphrased, then treating a page that never surfaces as a signal to restructure, not just rewrite.

Frequently asked questions
How does the FORKOFF blog organize categories?
Each category maps to a FORKOFF service line: clipping, founder-led growth, podcast, Reddit, Discord, activations, plus uncategorized for cross-cutting posts. Each category index aggregates articles in that lane and links to the underlying service.
How often are new articles added to each category?
We publish 2 to 4 operator-grade articles per week across all categories combined. Most categories see 1 to 2 new pieces per month. Higher-velocity lanes like clipping and founder-led growth get more weekly cadence.
Who writes the category content?
Articles are co-authored by FORKOFF operators and the founders we work with. Every claim ties to an audit ledger entry from a live engagement. Each piece is reviewed against our 3-tier verification matrix before it ships.
Can I subscribe to a specific category feed?
Category-specific RSS feeds are available at /blog/<category>/rss.xml (where supported). All categories also ship to @officialforkoff on X and to the FORKOFF newsletter within an hour of publish.
How do I apply for the related engagement?
Each category page has a primary CTA pointing at the matching FORKOFF service. Apply via Calendly for a 30-minute intro. Five engagements per quarter cap, by application only.
